Andreia Chaves  ‘Invisible Shoe Series’
The “Invisible Shoe” was born from a study of Optical Effect applied to shoe design, where the designer explores the concept of invisibility through the “chameleon effect”. The shoe has a reflective finished surface, creating a deceptively obscured optical effect with every step taken. Its design far exceeds the primary function of a shoe, where “protecting” the foot also means “deleting” or “immersing” it into the environment.
